It is completely free from allergens and fragrances, making it suitable for sensitive and allergic skin. It can be used on its own or with a cleansing product to removes dirt and dead skin cells.

Application:

• Use the natural sponge on its own or with a shower or cleansing product.
• The sponge is ideal for lathering solid products and massaging them into the skin.
• After showering, hang it up to dry using the practical cotton cord.

Cleaning and care:

• Rinse the sponge with clear water after use and squeeze it out gently.
• Alternatively, soak the sponge for 15 minutes in a mixture of lukewarm water and vinegar essence then allow it to dry thoroughly.
• If it is very dirty, wash it carefully in a laundry bag on the wool cycle in the washing machine.

Origin:

• Sea sponges are sustainably harvested by hand twice a year by open-air divers in the Mediterranean.
• Sustainable harvesting involves a gentle process in which the roots are not damaged so that the sponge can grow back quickly.
