Description
Niacinamide or nicotinamide is a vitamin B derivative that is ideal for blemished and combination skin. In conjunction with zinc, it offers soothing and astringent properties whilst balancing the complexion and counteracting impurities. Sebum production is regulated while the pores are refined. At the same time, the 2 actives work in synergy to protect and strengthen the skin barrier to minimise light-induced skin aging and preserve the hydration levels of the skin. The serum promotes cell regeneration and refines the complexion.
Application:
- Standalone: apply 3 - 4 drops to clean skin mornings and evenings and massage.
- Booster: mix 1-2 drops with face cream and apply.
Note:
- Only use on intact skin.
- Do not combine with cosmetics containing vitamin C or directly after a scrub/peel.

I was a bit sceptical but decided to give it a try for a week now and it worked for me in most ways. I use this product only on my forehead that tends to get oily as I have combination skin and treat the rest of my face separately with vitamins from same brand, then my usual cream on top. On my forehead I used it in conjunction with hyaluronic acid from same brand - 2 drops of Niaciamide till full absorption and then hyaluron drop on top to hydrate, nothing more. I am in my mid 30's building my beauty routine with help of skincare essentials. I found more information at la saponaria blog - how to combine these products for best effect. 4 stars as i haven't seen particular change to my dilated pores but perhaps I need more time for this product to work but I am happy with results so far.
