Hydroxyethyl ethylcellulose
Hydroxyethylcellulose, Hydroxyethyl Ethylcellulose
This group of substances belongs to the so-called group of semi-synthetic gelling agents. Gelling agents give gels and emulsions consistency. Hydroxyethyl cellulose also forms an elastic, hardly noticeable film on the surface of the skin that cannot penetrate the outer layer of the skin, so it is considered very easy to tolerate. It can also be used as a consistency lender in hair and oral care products or in decorative cosmetics.
