- A glass container
- Reed, rattan or bamboo sticks
- A light carrier oil (almond or jojoba oil is a good choice)
- Essential oils
- First, pour the essential oil into the glass container.
- Add 20 drops of essential oil for every ¼ cup of carrier oil.
- Dip the sticks in the oil to carefully mix the oils.
- Leave the sticks in the oil blend for about 2 hours before turning them upside down to release the oils absorbed by the ends of the sticks that were dipped into the oil blend.
- Whenever the ends of the sticks that are exposed to the air seem dry or you notice the scent dwindling, simply turn them once more. This way the fragrance of the freshly absorbed oils will disperse into the interior of the space.
