Description
Bee pollen is collected by bees as they fly from flower to flower. The bees mix the pollen from plants with nectar or their saliva, resulting in the classic spherical shape. These tiny, nutrient-rich granules are packed with proteins, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Recommended intake:
- Take 1 heaped teaspoon (about 5 g) 1 - 3 times a day, as is or mixed in your favourite beverage or food.
- The recommended daily dosage of 15 g should not be exceeded.
Other uses:
- In a smoothie: Mix a teaspoon of pollen into a morning smoothie.
- In yoghurt: Sprinkle bee pollen over yoghurt or muesli.
- In baked goods: Incorporate bee pollen into bread or muffin batter.
