This mousse is very good on it's own. It's just a thinner product. You have to use it on towel dry hair, not soaking wet hair like thicker mousses. And use a royal amount, you hair needs to be saturated with the mousse. Also good as a second day refresh. Best used in conjunction with a lightweight leave in. You can combine with this brand's gel (or other gels) for extra hold but on thinner hair the mousse alone is enough.

No sticky residue, only very mild hold but leaves my hair frizz free and really naturally soft.

I had high expectations for this product, but it smelt just as bad as conventional mousse without the added benefit of working. I dont feel it did what its supposed to at all and because of that I would not purchase this again
