Thanks to mild steam distillation, the full, fresh aroma of the cajeput leaves is preserved and therefore particularly suitable for freshening the air, especially at the change of season. Cajeput oil also shows its positive properties in cosmetics. It minimises excessive oil secretion and takes care of oily skin and oily hair.

The organic oil mixes well with thyme, lavender, geranium, eucalyptus, rosemary, bergamot, orange, lemon, peppermint, cedarwood, and oregano.

Interesting facts: cajeput is a resinous, evergreen tree, a close relative of tea tree and niaouli. In the Philippines, it is called "swamp tea tree". It grows up to 25 meters tall and has a whitish bark that feels like paper. Cajeput is native to Malaysia, India and Australia, but also grows in the Philippines and surrounding islands.
