Biopark Cosmetics Organic Avocado Oil, 100 ml

Avocado oil is an excellent cosmetic product for dry skin. It is easily absorbed by skin and hair where it penetrates the tissues. The oil is known to soften and intensively moisturise the skin which are ideal properties for skin that lacks moisture as well as mature skin types. Furthermore, avocado oil alleviates itchiness and eczema while also promoting hair growth. The sterol-rich oil reduces the appearance of pigmentation spots, sun damage and scars. Skin is left feeling wonderfully soft and moisturised. The skin's own collagen level is increased that in turn reduces skin aging. 

Description: Cold-pressed from the avocado and has a pale yellow colour. In its unprocessed form it has a slightly green colour, due to its natural chlorophyll content. Avocado may go cloudy in low temperatures but will return to normal. Its consistency is slightly thicker than most carrier oils. Avocado oil will leave a sticky, waxy feel if applied topically to large areas of skin.

Valuable components: Avocado contains vitamins A, B1, B2, D, E, lecithin, magnesium, iron, potassium and beta carotene. It is classified as a monounsaturated oil, containing several proteins and the following fatty acids: palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic, linolenic.

• For the face: Apply a small amount of the oil to cleansed skin, previously moisturised with a toner or hydrosol.
• For the body: After bathing or showering, apply to moist skin and massage. You can add a few drops of favourite essential oil to the bottle for massaging.

Avocado Oil Hot Oil Treatment:

• Blend together 1 tablespoon of avocado oil and 1 teaspoon of olive oil and heat it slightly.
• Massage this oil mixture into your hair and scalp.
• Gently massage your hair and scalp for around 15 minutes using circular motions. This will help the oil absorb and improves blood circulation to the scalp.
• Then, soak a towel in hot water and squeeze out all the excess water. Wrap this hot towel around your head and let it take effect for around 20 minutes.
• Follow by shampooing and conditioning the hair as usual.
